How You'll Make an Impact
Act as a consultant, work with business units to understand current business processes, share previous business processes to analyze workflows, identify inefficiencies, and develop process maps and documentation
Bring a deep understanding of assigned business processes to develop and implement recommendations to optimize business processes by reducing redundancies, minimizing errors, and improving operational efficiency
Work closely with assigned departments (e.g., Claims, IT, Underwriting, HR, etc.) to understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure alignment on process improvement initiatives
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives, department heads, and external partners
Utilize data and performance indicators to track the success of implemented process improvements and recommend further adjustments as needed
Lead change management efforts to ensure the successful adoption of new processes, including training staff and proactively addressing resistance to change
Identify opportunities to leverage automation tools and technologies (e.g., RPA, ERP systems) to streamline operations and reduce manual effort
Establish continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of innovation within the organization to ensure sustained business efficiency
Understand leadership's appetite to implement recommendations
Lead efficiency projects by acting as a liaison between business units, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and understanding of project goals and optimization initiatives
Maintain a deep understanding of the continuous improvement landscape, attend applicable industry events/conferences, conduct research to identify and understand trends, and adjust the strategy accordingly
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s degree and four years experience in the area to be assigned (e.g., Claims, IT, Finance, Underwriting)
Six years experience in the area to be assigned (e.g., Claims, IT, Finance, Underwriting)
Preferred
Extensive experience in a process improvement or operational excellence role
Experience with process improvement projects
Six Sigma or similar certification
Strong project management skills and ability to analyze information and make effective decisions
Demonstrated success in data management and report generation, including charts, graphs, and spreadsheets using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PowerBI
Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
Forward-thinker who proactively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
Knowledge of current Central processes and/or ability to learn current processes
Ability to identify redundancies and make processes more efficient
Proven time management and effective multi-tasking ability
Ability to build strong, long-term relationships with internal business partners
Ability to understand Central Insurance’s policies and processes
