What District Executives Do
Our professionals develop and use skills in management, sales, public relations, and fundraising. Although they spend their share of hours behind a desk, a lot more time is spent in the field checking out the action in their service areas, making sure that goals are set and objectives are met.
A District Executive Position
The district executive manages the overall growth, quality, program enhancement, and supervision of the Scouting program within a specified geographical area. The Executive oversees a District Operations Board who in turn support, train, and motivate the adult volunteers delivering the Scouting program. Though most of the work deals with human relations, fundraising administration and public relations are vital additional duties of the district executive.
