The successful candidate will have the opportunity to conduct a variety of psychological and forensic assessments, provide intervention services, and participate in research projects. The position requires licensure to practice psychology in New York State and experience working in a clinical setting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Licensed psychologist with experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in a forensic or psychiatric hospital. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively with diverse populations and multidisciplinary teams. Strong assessment and treatment planning skills, with experience conducting diagnostic, cognitive, and violence/suicide risk assessments.
