About the Role
Central New York Psychiatric Center is seeking a licensed psychologist to join our team at our secure forensic inpatient hospital. As a key member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to conduct a variety of psychological and forensic assessments, provide intervention services, and participate in research projects.
The ideal candidate will possess a doctoral degree in psychology and be licensed to practice in New York State. You will have a unique opportunity to work with individuals involved in the criminal justice system, conducting diagnostic, cognitive, and violence/suicide risk assessments, evaluating adjudicative competence, and providing expert court testimony.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological and forensic assessments
