What are the responsibilities and job description for the Habilitation Specialist position at Central New York Quest, Inc.?
Central New York Quest is a nonprofit agency that provides a range of services to individuals with developmental disabilities. We are searching for persons to join our team in providing Self Directed Community Habilitation direct support services for a woman in Mohawk, NY. Candidates for this position must be:

This is a challenging but rewarding job and the right candidate must have a strong commitment to helping improve the lives of persons with developmental disabilities; assisting them to improve their adaptive life skills in the home or community setting.
Work takes place primarily in the community or home setting and candidates must be available day, evening and/or weekend hours. Applicants must have their own transportation and be able to transport individuals served. We are currently seeking part-time employees in Madison, Oneida and Herkimer counties.
A college degree in a related field is preferred, but persons with a high school diploma may be considered with experience with people with developmental disabilities.
