What are the responsibilities and job description for the English Language Learner (ELL) Teacher position at Central Office?
This is a full-time position to develop in each English Language Learner, skills to effectively perform course of study in the English language through academic courses of study and implementing district approved curriculum; providing methods to support and/or reinforce classroom goals in the home environment; providing a safe and optimal learning environment; developing appropriate lesson plans and instructional techniques in the English language; determing levels of English fluency and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree or higher required. Tennessee teaching license with the ELL endorsement.
