Job Description :
Responsible for initiating, planning, executing, and controlling large complex enterprise projects.Organizes work into a manageable plan; secures executive staff approval for project scope, budget, schedule, and plan; assembles the project team, assigns individual responsibilities, and develops the project schedule.Controls execution of the project to meet planned business objectives within budgetary and schedule limitations.Communicates with senior management and functional area management regarding project status.May direct the activities of one or more project managers and project leads to deliver results.Evaluates project results against business strategies and objectives.Manages cross-functional aspects of the project to create deliverables within the authorized budget on the approved schedule.Creates, implements, and manages project plans, business requirement documents, communication plans, test plans, and other project documents.Delegates and manages tasks of other functional core team members. Addresses project resource issues such as performance or availability problems.Provides leadership to clear barriers to team progress, resolves conflicts within and outside the team, and ensures project goals and staff assignments are realistic and achievable.Drives teams towards excellence in analysis and decision-making.Meets quality standards and produces expected deliverables during all phases of the project life cycle : initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing.Responsible for assembling project teams, assigning responsibilities, identifying resources, and developing schedules to ensure timely project completion.Communicates regularly with functional managers, project management steering committee members, executive sponsors, and other stakeholders regarding project status, issues, and recovery plans.Maintains project control books and logs.Conducts lessons learned sessions and issues closing reports.Client Details
