What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Psychologist Intern 2025-2026 School Year position at Central Office?
This is a one-year only (240 Days) intern position for the 2025-26 school year. Provides psycho-educational support for students in need and instructional strategies as appropriate to facilitate the academic progress of students within Washington County Public Schools. Responds as appropriate to the needs of special education students as required by federal and state regulations.
JOB DUTIES:
The ability to administer and interpret psychological assessments, work collaboratively with multidisciplinary school-based teams, consult with teachers, and counsel with students while under the supervision of a School Psychologist. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential to meet the diverse needs of our community. Strong interpersonal and time-management skills are also required, as well as utilization of appropriate resources.
