What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Psychologist position at Central Office?
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants for the position must hold or be eligible to hold VA licensure as School Psychologist. Must possess demonstrated leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary to work effectively with students, parents, and administrators. The school psychologist supports schools and students to promote optimal learning experiences and advance outcomes for all students through psycho-educational and behavioral assessments, the collection and analysis of data, program planning, service delivery, and consultation in the educational setting. Provide individual psychological diagnostic testing, and reports for appropriately referred students.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Effective Date: 2025-2026 school year 220 day contracted positio
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
- Supplements: Master’s Degree ($2,190), Educational Specialist ($3,234), or Doctorate ($4,300) and
- Teacher salary scale plus Supplement: School Psychologist ($10,000)
- Opportunity for summer contract work per evaluation and eligibility meeting
