Title: Secretary, Central Office
Qualifications: High School Diploma and a high level of proficiency with technology, spreadsheets, various office equipment.
Reports to: Superintendent
Job Goal: Ensure a smooth, and efficient operation of the central office to have a positive impact on the education of students, staff relations both internal and external.
PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
1. Greet all visitors and field all incoming phone calls to central office.
2. Enroll new students.
3. Assist with various state reporting as requested and needed. Maintain attendance records.
4. Prepare all documents, reports, etc. as directed by the Superintendent, including all state and federal.
5. Manage the free and reduced lunch program and any required reporting.
6. Check the state fuel mileage reimbursement and update the districts to match as needed. Do this on a quarterly basis.
7. Sort incoming mail. Meter outgoing mail.
8. Assist Superintendent with mail and email correspondence as needed or requested.
9. Keep current on all PowerSchool reports. Assist with state reporting as needed.
10. Manage the board of education monthly meeting agenda, board preparation packet, communications, and presenters. Work with administrators on presenters as needed.
11. Become a notary.
12. Manage the request process for all bids.
13. Assist with grants as needed or requested.
14. Other duties, not specifically mentioned above, may be assigned by the Superintendent of Schools.
