Description
Main Responsibilities:
- Properly and safely fill Anhydrous Ammonia tanks (will receive thorough training)
- Loading, unloading and delivery of Agronomy products to spray operators, customers and other COFC locations
- Maintain a clean work area on a daily basis
- Communicate with Agronomist or location manager concerning daily activities
- Assist in housekeeping and maintenance of facility grounds
- Assist with outbound and inbound agronomy products
- Ensure Safety compliance
- Assist with measure and counting of inventory of dry and liquid fertilizers, NH3, lime, and chemicals
- Provide courteous customer service
- Operate all equipment & vehicles according to COFC policy and procedure along with all local, state, and federal laws
- Properly load/unload trucks
- Properly load railcars
- Operate various equipment
- Perform minor maintenance and greasing of equipment
- Assist with cleaning of bins and silos
Possibly train as a Custom Applicator:
- Apply dry and liquid fertilizer, chemicals and lime to customer's fields
- Record daily application logs
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- CDL Class B or A
- Tanker Endorsement
- Medical Examiner's Certificate- minimum of one year
- Must have a clean driving record - no DUI's or OVI's in past five years
- Good communication skills with customers and coworkers
- Initiative to work independently and also in a team environment
- Adaptable, self-starter, dependable
