Central Ohio Primary Care is seeking a full time Manager, Clinical Compliance at our central business office in Westerville, OH. The Clinical Compliance Manager will develop and oversee COPC’s clinical compliance programs with the goal of clinical excellence. This position will help build and provide leadership to a team who will support the program, as well as develop policies and workflows to cultivate a culture of compliance, establish organizational standards, and enforce compliance with the requirements. Additionally, this position will serve as a resource on clinical quality and patient safety matters and provide education, facilitation, and coaching for all COPC clinical staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Develop, oversee, and continuously enhance an organizational clinical compliance program, including waived labs, phlebotomy, vaccine storage and handling, and clinical best practices in offices.Establish best practice guidelines, policies, and workflows to support clinical compliance in the offices. Update policies and procedures as needed when regulations evolve, and organizational needs arise.Facilitate a process to ensure completion of clinical compliance audits in all offices.Create a process to continuously assess organization needs by analyzing patient safety events, completing risk assessments, and implementing clinical quality improvement activities.Partner with legal and clinical leadership to report and monitor critical risk areas, develop a strategy for mitigation, and help implement action plans.Develop and administer clinical compliance training and education throughout the organization.Ensure clinical staff competency through training and coaching to drive best practices in the offices.Create and manage a clinical training program for new hires and upskill current employees as needed.Implement an annual skills day to ensure clinical competencies across COPC.Drive and expand the organization’s clinical preceptor program.Maintain a body of knowledge on clinical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and patient safety concepts.Work closely with Regional Business Managers and Office Managers to collaborate and provide consistent presence and support in the offices.Collaborate regularly and closely with various organizational stakeholders, including lab, vaccine, and construction & safety leadership.QUALIFICATIONS :

A. Education, Licensures & Certifications
Required : Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or biologic science.Required : At least 5 years prior clinical experience; experience in outpatient primary care preferred.Required : Active Ohio driver’s license with the ability to travel throughout COPC’s service area.Preferred : At least 2 years of management and / or teaching experience.Preferred : Experience with point of care testing, knowledge of CLIA and OSHA regulations.B. Ability to create and maintain strong working relationships and partnerships with all levels across the organization, including office managers, Physicians, COPC administration and senior management / leadership.Change management skills and proficiency to be a change agent.Detail oriented and strong problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation skills; ability to communicate effectively in stressful situations.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Ability to interpret, adapt and apply all COPC internal guidelines, policies and procedures.Ability to multi-task and manage a tight timeline for site assessment for vaccine and clinical inventory.Ability to plan, organize and prioritize time / workload to accomplish tasks and meet deadlines.Knowledge of medical terminology as applied to immunizations and vaccine preventable diseases; vaccines and vaccine administration; dosing schedules; etc.Strong knowledge and understanding of CDC requirements related to vaccinations and storage.Must have reliable transportation to travel to all COPC sites / practices with goal of inspecting each site / practice on a monthly basis.
