Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must reside in the state of Ohio.
- A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in Computer & Information Science ( CIS ), business, or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline.
- In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, the College may consider applicants with an associate degree, relevant work experience, professional licensure, certifications, or other demonstrated competencies in the subject area.
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive working relationships with students, peers, supervisors, and staff.
- Willingness to teach and communicate using a variety of instructional methods, including email and online learning management systems.
- Commitment to meeting students’ learning needs and empowering them to succeed.
- Personal and educational philosophy that aligns with the mission, values, goals, and objectives of Central Ohio Technical College.
- Successful completion of a background check is required.
- A master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in the subject area, a related field, or a master’s degree in education.
- Previous teaching experience and experience with curriculum development and assessment.
