LPN Desk Nurses are essential in delivering exceptional patient care. They support established patients over the phone, addressing diagnoses, medication refills, lab/imaging orders, and more. What You’ll Be Doing
- Receives and completes nursing calls and tasks for a set of designated physicians/APPs
- May be required to assist with the tasks of fellow associates according to business needs
- Instruct patient regarding medications and treatment instruction, collection of samples and tests, and arranges for patient testing, procedures and admissions.
- Educate patient on possible lifestyle changes that may be necessary to promote optimal health
What We Expect from You
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Two years of professional nursing experience in a medical practice setting, in a Urology practice, clinic or hospital-based health center preferred.
- A valid LPN license
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
