What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analyst I Indirect Consumer Lending position at Central Pacific Bank?
Position Function:
Primarily responsible for providing portfolio operational support to the Purchase Portfolio team within Indirect Consumer. Other responsibilities will include developing analytical reports and reporting tools for various business units (Indirect Consumer, Direct Consumer, HELOC, Scored Small Business) in the Consumer Lending Division.

Primary Accountabilities:
Indirect Portfolio Operation:
- Generate portfolio performance reports on various mainland purchase portfolios
- Complete daily and monthly portfolio reconciliation
- Process portfolio remittances
- Assist with the execution of new funding request
- Assist with monthly charge off processing
- Assist with the development of the operational process on new and existing portfolios
Division wide Reporting:
- Generate monthly performance reports on various business units within the Consumer Lending Division
- Develop ad-hoc analytical reports
- Assist with the development of division wide reporting tools
Management of Reporting:
- Troubleshoot reporting issues
- Assist with the management of process automation jobs
- Assist with the management of reporting databases (Microsoft Access and SQL Server)
- Assist with the management of division wide reporting tools
Research:
- Assist with the evaluation of credit performance, production, and profitability
- Gather data to assist with the credit write-up.
- Process Improvement:
- Assists the division with data and analytical support for process improvement initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma required.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited 4-year university with an emphasis in business administration, information management or statistical analysis preferred.
Experience:
- 1 years of financial experience (A bachelor’s degree can substitute for 2 years of work experience) preferred.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items including but not limited to boxes, files and papers up to 20 pounds unless otherwise as indicated.
- Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and/or other work related mechanical or electronic devices and applications.
- Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers. Must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions.
- Must be able to read and understand bank-related documents.
- Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time. Must also be able to adapt to different work environments as needed to perform the job.
