Central Park Rehabilitation & Nursing located in Syracuse NY is looking for a Maintenance Worker to join our team.
Duties include :
Helping maintain the facility in compliance with current federal, state, and local laws, regulations and guidelines.
Helping maintain the facility in good repair and free from hazards.
Assits in maintaining the heating / coooing system, plumbing fixtures, wiring, etc. in good working order.
Establishes priorities in providing repair services.
Provides routine scheduled maintenancer services to all areas.
Performs duties as directed by Director of Maintenance.
Qualifications :
Ability to handle tools and equipment, make proper calcuations for repairs or reports. Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other staff. Possess special interest in, and a positive attitude about, working with longterm care residents and the elderly. Meets all health requirements, as required by law. Able to stand, walk, kneel and bend frequently for long periods of time throughout the day.
