The Role:
As an Account Manager at Central Paving, you will be the trusted face of the company for all existing and newly gained customers within your region. Your ability to understand and translate the needs of each individual customer to our estimating team, and then accurately explain the project back to the customer will be crucial to your success. We are looking for someone who will own this role.
Responsibilities:
Customer Facing
- Approach sales with a “Farmer” mindset; nurturing existing customers and facilitating the growth of Central Pavings customer base, and your own network.
- Approach sales with a “Hunter” mindset; seeking out new customers within our target verticals, developing creative methods of marketing, and applying your skillset to create new opportunities.
- Schedule and attend in-person customer meetings, occasionally meeting via zoom or other video call.
- Translate and effectively communicate the needs of each individual customer to our estimating team.
- Present proposals, address concerns, and negotiate contracts to secure deals.
- Oversee projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and to client satisfaction.
- Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the job life cycle, keeping them informed and addressing concerns promptly.
- Attend trade shows, association events, and other social networking events.
- Lead educational events such as “lunch & learns” and association presentations.
Company Facing
- Meet sales goals by following our trusted sales process.
- Maintain customer databases, routinely tracking and following up on projects via Hubspot CRM.
- Provide regular reports on project progress and budget adherence.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and pricing to optimize sales strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (estimating, operations, field, etc.) to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze markets, compare marketing efforts and assist with marketing development.
- Contribute to developing and implementing sales strategies.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
