Our Behavioral Health Department provides residential, intensive outpatient, and outpatient treatment services for individuals struggling with substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders. We also provide mental health counseling services for adults and teenagers who are referred to us from within our provider network.

About the position:
The Counselor IV will provide culturally competent mental health services to individuals and families who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situations or mental health concerns.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a mental health field.
- Specific alcoholism/drug counseling training with internship period.
- 2 years of Chemical Dependency Treatment experience.
- 2 years of Specialty Mental Health Practice experience.
- Alaska licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Psychologist, or eligibility to obtain licensure upon hire.
Starting pay is $91,665 - $104,769 depending on experience. Additional compensation is also available for qualifying weekend and night shifts.
This position is eligible for a critical position bonus of $10,000. Current employees are not eligible.
