POSITION SUMMARY: The Revenue Cycle Manager (PFS) is responsible for overseeing the employee operations and functions of the Patient Financial Services (PFS) department, which handles medical insurance billing for Central Peninsula Hospital, its Behavioral Health departments, and hospital-based professional services. This role works closely with and under the direction of the Director of Revenue Cycle to ensure efficient, compliant, and productive operations that support the financial health of the organization.
The Revenue Cycle Manager (PFS) provides leadership, training, and management for the staff within the PFS department areas of responsibility, including pre-certification, claims billing, accounts receivable collections, denial and underpayment management, payment posting, and self-pay/financial counseling. The manager collaborates with Revenue Cycle Leadership to enhance revenue cycle performance, ensure compliance with payer requirements, achieve short-term strategic goals, adapt to the evolving healthcare landscape, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to maintain and improve organizational performance across multiple areas.
REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or Accounting

Relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of education on a year-for-year basis

3 years of Medical Billing experience

1 year of Supervisory experience

Thorough knowledge of insurance and government billing requirements, and HIPAA

General knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 concepts

Pay is based on years of experience and applicable qualifications. $74,360.83 - $84,983.81 starting pay. This position is also eligible for relocation assistance.
