What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Medical/Surgical position at Central Peninsula General Hospital?
This position is eligible for a CRITICAL POSITION BONUS equal to $10,000!

POSITION SUMMARY: Manages individualized, goal directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures and standards of nursing practice.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- If new graduate, a 12-Week Precepteeship in Med/Surg unit must be completed.
- State of Alaska RN Licensure or Eligible to Obtain
- BLSP (CPR) from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS and PALS from the American Heart Association within 6 months of employment
PREFERRED:
- 1 year of Med/Surg Nursing experience.
- Certified Medical-Surgical RN (CMSRN) from the Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Board.
