What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Emergency position at Central Peninsula Hospital?
POSITION SUMMARY: Manages individualized, goal directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures and standards of nursing practice.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- If new graduate, a 12-Week Preceptorship in the Emergency Department must be complete
- State of Alaska RN License
- BLSP, ACLS & PALS from the American Heart Association
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course from ENA may substitute for PALS
- Trauma Nursing Core Course from the Emergency Nurses Association
*This is an 8-week temporary position starting on April 6, 2025*
