Job Details
General job duties.
Types of procedures required.
Must do both pre and post op.
Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
Equipment utilized in the unit / dept. Meditech, Pyxis Medication.
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years PACU experience.
Active AK license.
BLSP, ACLS and PALS required.
Schedule Information
10 hour shifts, three shifts per day.
Unit Specific Information
7 bays in the unit.
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit : 1 / 1.
Dress Code : Scrubs - provided.
Unit specific training and orientation program. CPH requires RN's complete Medication Testing once on site (to be completed within first two weeks).
Additional Details
Does candidate require any time off during initial assignment? If yes, indicate dates in comments section.
Min 2 years recent PACU experience.
Active AK state RN license.
Active BLS (must be AHA).
Active ACLS.
Active PALS.
Experience with EPIC charting.
