What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Coach, Women's Volleyball position at Central Penn College?
Central Penn College is seeking a Head Women’s Volleyball Coach for the upcoming season. Central Penn College is a member of the USCAA and Eastern States Athletic Conference that competes on a national level for small colleges. This position oversees all aspects of the volleyball program and is committed to adhering to all rules and regulations of Central Penn College, the athletic department, and the USCAA. The head coach is also responsible for monitoring the academic progress of the volleyball student athletes in addition to recruiting high school and transfer students for the volleyball program and maintaining a healthy roster size. This role will also coordinate with the planning of the program schedule, facilities, games, and events. This is a part time, seasonal position.
Qualified candidates must have:
- Previous college or high school coaching experience.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required.
- Previous college volleyball playing experience preferred.
- Experience recruiting student athletes is a plus but not required.
- Valid PA driver’s license.
