This position is a full-time, salaried position that offers holistic, personalized, and genuine life coaching and educational support to young adult program participants who are currently (or who were previously involved) in the foster care system, as well as other unconnected youth, to help them reach their desired goals. The ability to connect with young people and build meaningful and interpersonal connections is vital, as relationships are critical for this rewarding profession. This is a highly autonomous position that requires high integrity, professionalism, a self-driven mindset, and an optimistic outlook.

Central Plains Center for Services is a statewide agency, operating for over 25 years, and offers opportunities for positive change to individuals, families, and communities across the state of Nebraska. We specialize in offering high-quality and personalized Educational Programs, Transitional Living Services, Early Childhood Education, and After School/Summer Programs.

Job Functions:

  • Provide one-on-one direct coaching/educational services to young adults using a strengths-based, trauma-informed, and youth-driven approach.
  • Assist young adults in developing individualized Independent Living Plans.
  • Build relationships with referral sources, community agencies, and organizations.
  • Strong familiarity with both financial literacy concepts and human services best practices.
  • Provide your transportation for regular travel in and around the Norfolk and Northeast Nebraska area that meets agency standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Human Services/Social Work, Education, or a related field.
  • Effective verbal & written communication, basic computer knowledge and skills, and proven collaborative skills.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
