At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. Primary duties of a Quality Systems Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Ensures compliance with the CPCCo QA Manual for project activities as well as contract
- Manages Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE), including QAE inspection personnel assigned
- Schedules, plans, and supports assessment activities of project and subcontractor activities.
- Identifies those individuals functioning in QAE positions that require training and qualification
- Confirms requisite education, experience, and training are completed, qualifications are
- Assigns work based on individuals' education, experience, training, and qualifications.
- Develop, review, and approve documents and procedures implementing CPCCo QA Program to assure QA requirements are integrated into project work planning, procurement, and processes. These are to include commercial grade dedications and product Quality assurance inspection plans.
- Provide expert QA/QC guidance and problem-solving expertise as requested to resolve and prevent quality problems.
- Perform contract and contractor oversight activities.
Basic Qualifications
* Manager Grade 21 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 10 years of relevant experience.
- Manager Grade 22 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 12 years of relevant experience.
The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
* Proficient in the use of computer-based procurement and work controls systems.
- Prior experience and knowledge of Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD) methods.
- Previous inspection certifications.
- Experience performing surveillances, audits, and assessments.
- Experience and knowledge of software quality assurance.
- Experience in supporting nuclear facility construction.
- Operational Readiness Review Experience
- Six Sigma / Process Improvement Experience.
- Experience with weld inspections.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
- Grade 21: $142,038 - $179,113.
- Grade 22: $159,363 - $209,688.
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
