Because this is a Contract to Hire position only GC’s and USC’s.
This position is Hybrid (2-3 Days remote/work from home)! Only candidates who are local to Columbus, Oh will be considered.
Job Title: Front-End Developer (React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, API Integration)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer proficient in React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with hands-on experience in AWS Lambda, to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building user-centric web applications, a deep understanding of API integration, and the ability to develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop User Interfaces: Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React.js, ensuring seamless user experiences across various devices and browsers.
- Component Development: Build reusable and maintainable components, adhering to best practices and design patterns.
- API Integration: Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring efficient data flow and functionality.
- AWS Lambda Development: Design, develop, and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda, enabling event-driven architecture and efficient backend processing.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze and enhance application performance, focusing on speed and scalability.
- Code Quality: Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, following industry standards and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement designs accurately and with product managers to align on project requirements and deliverables.
- Testing: Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code reliability and robustness.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in front-end development, with a focus on React and TypeScript.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in React.js and its core principles.
- Strong understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and serverless application development.
- Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Tokens.
- Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme).
- Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, and NPM.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial.
