Job Summary
Central Research, Inc. is actively seeking a Business Process Subject Matter Specialist for work in the Springfield, VA area. The Business Process Subject Matter Specialist position will provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
Provide expert technical support for the Department of Defense (DoD) Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) modules, leveraging in-depth knowledge of functionalities and DoD contracting and procurement processes to resolve both complex functional and technical issues.
Areas of support may include comprehensive troubleshooting, backend support, complex desktop issue assistance, testing, routing and network issue resolution, post-production deployment support of PIEE releases, and general server support.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of a knowledge management portal using SharePoint and / or Confluence (Jira) for Knowledge Management (KM) / Knowledge Base Articles (KBA) and as a repository for training products, FAQs, and job aides. Creation and maintenance of Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), providing training to personnel and customers in the field.
Minimum Requirements (Education & Experience)
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle escalations and manage conflict resolution professionally and courteously.
- Five (5) years working in Department of Defense (DoD) contracting as a GS-1102-12 or above, Contract Specialist, position or other substantially equivalent position that has yielded deep knowledge and understanding of the DoD contracting process and the critical relationship that the PIEE PMO has in the DoD Contracting and Procurement ecosystem.
- Knowledge of SAFe 6.0 Agile principles and / or ITIL v4 Problem Management guidelines, identifying, managing, and eliminating recurring incidents.
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
- Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3)
