Job Summary
Assess and support the technology needs of assigned school(s).
Education and Experience
- Degree in information technology or related field and/or two years of experience in computer technology support
- A Certification (or willingness to obtain within 1 year of employment)
- Experience with Google Admin and multiple computer and mobile device operating systems
- Experience with mobile device management and computer imaging
- Hold and maintain a valid Iowa driver’s license
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Performance Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical assistance to assigned school(s)
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software on computers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment for assigned school(s)
- Maintain a working relationship with Central Rivers AEA staff and IT leaders
- Engage in ongoing professional learning related to technology services for the CRAEA and assigned school(s)
- Assist in the maintenance and improvement of the assigned school’s networking infrastructure
- Assist in developing short and long term IT goals for assigned school(s)
- Maintain accurate and timely records of service to the assigned school(s) via the Help Desk system
- Set up technology for staff professional development and school meetings
- Advise and implement necessary cybersecurity best practices and standards
- Setup and configure devices and computer labs
- Install and configure Wi-Fi devices
- Provide technical support to Central Rivers AEA staff as needed
- Assist the Central Rivers AEA IT Team with larger IT projects as needed
- Support all Agency initiatives, programs, and goals established in the name of service to member school districts
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
