What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable/Payable Analyst position at Central Roofing Company?
We are in search of an AR/ AP Analyst to be part of our team. They will be responsible for handling both accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. The role is based in Gardena, California.
Responsibilities
Administer all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, collection of overdue invoices and transaction processing. Including credit card payments and check applications
- Oversee and manage all aspects of accounts payable, including bill payments, inventory receipt, and credit card transactions.
- Maintain and update company internal systems, primarily QuickBooks.

- Respond to phone calls and customer/vendor inquiries as necessary
- Use Microsoft Office Programs such as, Outlook, Word, Excel proficiently for various tasks · Prioritize workload effectively, manage time efficiently, and adhere to deadlines consistently
- Be comfortable in ambiguous situations and be self-motivated to expand skillset to solve new problems * Strive for excellence, have an extreme ownership mentality, and maintain a problem/solution mindset.

Other Duties
- This role is 100%' onsite and involves reporting to the Accounting Manager.
- The position is 24-32 hours a week, with the possibility of more days
- Process AR/ AP transactions accurately and timely
- Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Communicate with vendors and clients to ensure timely payment and resolve discrepancies
- Support the accounting team with tasks as needed
- Various accounting and administrative duties
- Perform basic clerical duties including organization, data entry and filing.
Qualifications
3 years previous experience in accounts receivable and payable or a related field
- Bachelors /associate's degree in accounting/finance preferred.
- * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in accounting software, QuickBooks and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
