Description
Central State Bank has an immediate opening for a Compliance Officer. This is an on-site position located at one of our branch locations within the Corridor.
Our Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and state banking regulations. The Compliance Officer assists the COO/CRO with the administration and oversight of an effective Compliance Program that is in line with regulatory requirements, guidance, expectations, and industry best practices.

Requirements
· Identify areas of necessary improvements and assist with the formulation of methods and internal controls to strengthen the Bank’s compliance posture, while supporting internal staff and customer service goals.
· Stay abreast of and analyze developing industry and compliance trends, as well as changes to laws and regulations. Advise the COO/CRO and the Internal Controls & Compliance Committee of emerging risks, new and amended laws, regulations, or agency guidance.
· Perform compliance reviews of transactions, documentation, procedures, and policies, and monitor daily operating activities as needed.
· Participate in the risk assessment process throughout the Bank.
· Assist in the administration of independent audits and state and federal examinations.
· Provide staff training and guidance on compliance topics.
What You’ve Done
· 1- 3 years of experience in regulatory consumer compliance.
· Ability to interpret and apply state and federal banking regulations and guidelines.
· Accuracy and attention to detail required.
· Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Ability to take direction and instruction and follow through independently.

Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
