Job Summary: The Agriculture Research Development program welcomes applications for a research assistant position, Health, Nutrition, and Exercise.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This position will assist in conduction of research in the areas of health, nutrition, and exercise.

- Conduct physical performance assessments including, but not limited to, flexibility testing, aerobic capacity, body composition, strength and muscle aerobic.
- Maintain equipment in the Exercise and Nutrition lab.
- Order supplies necessary for research projects.
- Conduct literature searches as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum of a B.S. in exercise science and/or nutrition.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills.
- Previous successful work experience with culturally diverse populations a plus.
- Cope effectively with adversity and demonstrate leadership skills that promote collegiality and cooperation.
- Committed to values of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
A B.S. in Exercise Science and/or Nutrition.

Work is generally performed in an office, classroom, or exercise lab environment. Frequent reaching, sitting, walking, and standing may be required. No special coordination beyond that used for normal mobility and handling of everyday objects and materials is needed to perform the job.
