The Vice Provost of Enrollment and Academic Strategies serves as the senior enrollment officer for the university, providing strategic leadership and vision for all aspects of enrollment management. This position reports directly to the provost and is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to achieve the institution’s enrollment, retention, and student success goals.

Strategic Leadership and Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, data-driven enrollment management strategy aligned with the university’s mission, values, and strategic plan
- Lead the development and implementation of short and long-term enrollment goals, including recruitment, retention, and completion targets
- Develop and execute comprehensive policies and procedures for each unit in enrollment management
- Collaborate with academic deans and department chairs to align enrollment strategies with academic program offerings and capacity
Administrative Oversight
- Direct supervision of the Office of the Registrar, Enrollment Management, Office of Financial Aid, Office of Admissions, and the Student Success Center
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies and regulations
- Develop and maintain effective partnerships with Academic Affairs, including Student Affairs, Institutional Advancement, and other key stakeholders
Enrollment Operations
- Direct the administration of financial aid programs, including scholarship allocation and aid packaging strategies to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Ensure efficient and effective registration processes and academic records management
- Lead the implementation and optimization of enrollment-related technology systems
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Establish key performance indicators and metrics for enrollment management
- Provide regular enrollment updates and forecasts to university leadership
- Monitor and analyze enrollment patterns, student persistence, and completion rates
- Experience in higher education administration at the director level or above
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in enrollment management
- Experience with CRM and student information systems
- Record of successful innovation in enrollment strategies
- Experience with strategic planning and change management
- Understanding of financial aid leveraging and scholarship administration
- Excellence in written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

- Terminal degree in a related area required
- Seven or more years of progressively responsible management experience in a higher education setting.
- Experience managing complex budgets and multiple departments
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
- Experience with Banner or other data systems software programs.
