Order Planning/Supply Chain

Central States Beverage is looking to hire a high energy individual to fill their Ordering/Supply Chain position. The most suitable candidates will possess the following qualities:

Must be very proficient in Excel

Ability to communicate and cultivate relationships both internally and with suppliers

Analytically minded/problem solver

Job Objective:

To assure that all supplier products are made available for sale to retail to include, forecasting, ordering of product and monitoring the shipment of ordered products, maintaining proper inventory days of sale by brand and by package to meet the standards set by each supplier.

Work Environment:

This position will be done in an office environment. There will be occasions when this position will physically check inventory in the warehouse, lifting case products of 24 lbs as needed to check code dates/expiration dates.

Work Duties Include:

Is responsible for the forecasting, ordering and tracking of product from each assigned supplier.

Is responsible for providing inventory and sales status/depletion reports for each supplier on a weekly and or monthly basis depending on the standards set by our suppliers.

Is responsible for maintaining code date awareness of all brands and packages and communicating date code issues to sales team.

Is responsible for handling all claims either with the suppliers and or transportation providers

Is responsible for producing and updating the daily reporting to the sales team of inventory Out of Stocks and Product Releases.

Is responsible for arranging freight for orders when requested by certain suppliers.
