Signage/Point of Sale Installer
Reports To: Director of Marketing
Job Description
The Point of Sale Installer is responsible for POS installation in our distributing footprint. This position will work with our Sales and Marketing Teams to correctly identify, produce and install correct and up to date branding in retail liquor licensed accounts. Material to install will include, but not limited to; LED installation, window film, cooler wraps, bar top and table wraps, tackers, canvases; etc
POS Installation
- Demonstrate consistent attention to detail when installing pos for brand portfolio at retail, while ensuring that installations are done so with safety in mind
- Responsible for ensuring that pos installs are completed on or before deadlines in a safe manner.
- Responsible for maintaining all required drivers’ licenses for company vehicles as well as fork lift certification to operate in house lifts.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized work environment for assigned marketing department work areas up to and including assigned company vehicles.
- Responsible for attending meetings and incremental training as directed by the Director of Marketing and provided by Central States Beverage Company.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a good working relationship with team members in sales dept, all CSBEV employees as well our customers.
- Responsible for receiving, distributing and securing all deliveries; assist Inventory Manager with tracking and organization of all POS items.
Qualifications and Experience
- Some experience in sales or merchandising prior- most skills will come from on-the-job training.
- Great communication skills and a flexible attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Excellent decision-making and organizational
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required
Special Job Conditions
- Physical: Ability to lift 35 lb. cases, dolly 165 lb. kegs and various point-of-sales boxes
- Must be comfortable with heights and working on extension ladders. Must be comfortable with power tools and willing to learn how to use them
- Route driving during the day to numerous on and off premise accounts. Must keep company vehicle in good condition while maintaining a good and safe driving record.
