What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fumigation Technician position at Central States Fumigation?
We are a fumigation company that specializes in pest eradication of stored grains and agricultural commodities. As such, a candidate should exhibit the following requirements.
Must be 18 or older. Be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and climb ladders. Must be unafraid of heights. Must be on time and have the ability to get to work. We travel several hours to our customers, so some overnight stays, sometimes 3 to 5 nights per week, will be necessary. Overnight stays are paid for by the company.
I am looking for people to join our current crews as our season progresses. There will be current employees transitioning to management roles in the near future so backfilling their positions is critical. We are growing company with offices in New Orleans, Kansas, Oklahoma, Virginia, Arkansas, Texas, and Burlington, IA.
Expectations upon hiring would be to acquire a CDL Class C W/ Hazmat and applicable state pesticide licenses.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
