Summary : Performs HR related duties on a professional level. Responsible for the following functional areas : benefits administration, compensation, employee development and performance, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment / employment. Core Functions :
Benefits Administration
Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs such as medical, dental and vision insurances, wellness programs, life insurance, disability plans, and other benefits.
Responsible for auditing benefits related invoices and analyzing and reconciling variances before submitting for payment.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits eligibility, coverage and claims issues.
Support the enrollment, life event, and termination processes for employee benefits.
Assist with year-end processing and reporting related to benefits such as Form 5500, ACA reporting, and other benefits-related filings.
Prepares communications and educational presentations related to open enrollment and benefits to enhance awareness, utilization, and understanding of company offerings.
Collaborate with HR team members on projects and initiatives to improve processes and enhance employee experience.
Support accurate HRIS data entry and updates related to benefits, payroll, and leave information.
Leave Management
Support the administration of employee leave programs including FMLA, personal leaves, and other applicable leaves to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements related to leave management.
Track and reconcile benefits repayment process for all unpaid leaves of absence.
Assist employees and HR team with questions related to leave entitlements, usage, and benefits continuation during leave, replying accurately and timely.
Payroll Processing
Serve as backup to Payroll Specialist for accurate transaction management and data submission for payroll processing.
Assist with setting up and maintaining earnings, deductions, and tax codes within the HRIS (UKG Pro).
Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and collaborate with the payroll team to resolve issues.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related degree, OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 3 years professional HR experience
- Microsoft Office proficiencyPreferred : PHR or SPHR certification Physical Demands & Work Environment : Work is performed in an office environment. This role will routinely utilize standard office equipment to perform the core functions listed in this job description. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies as well as communicate verbally and electronically. The work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive reading to perform the core functions listed in this job description.
