Understands the market, customers, competitors, products, and services within the store’s scope and translates that knowledge into strategy and plans to ensure profitable growth. Ensures compliance of store and company policies. This role manages the retail associates for their assigned store(s).
Core Functions
Minimum Required:
Work is performed in an office environment. This role will routinely utilize standard office equipment to perform the core functions listed in this job description. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies as well as communicate verbally and electronically. The work is primarily sedentary. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud and in a non-temperature-controlled environment. While performing the core function of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, and required to lift to 75 lbs. This position is primarily working around machinery with moving parts, working around moving objects or vehicles. The employee is frequently required to walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach/pull/push/grab with hands and arms, kneel, and crouch, twist and bend. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or crawl.

- Develops and executes strategic growth business plan for store to support site’s growth plans.
- Ensures store compliance with company Standard Operation Procedures.
- Controls store expenses.
- Responsible for staffing, training, and conducting performance evaluations to develop retail sales positions.
- Prepares financial budgets for store, positioning the store for growth each year.
- Evaluates store’s product offering to identify new products and eliminate unprofitable items from sales line.
- Ability to bring on new business.
- Ability to hit sales volume targets.
- Ability to solve problems for customers that are escalated.
- Understands the metal building business.
- Ability to create presentations for customers using Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Ability to analyze data using Microsoft Excel.
