About the Position:
The Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit is seeking an experienced Education Director to lead its Center for Safe Schools. As a key member of the unit's leadership team, this individual will provide strategic guidance and management to ensure the effective implementation of school safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive school safety plans aligned with CSIU priorities
- Manage daily operations, including grant administration, professional learning, and technical assistance efforts
- Serve as a liaison between CSIU staff, education service agencies, and related programs
- Promote partnerships with funders, state and national agencies, and organizations
Requirements:
- Master's degree in education, social sciences, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience working in schools, community-based programs, and/or youth service organizations
- At least three years of direct supervisory experience
