As an Instructional Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing remedial instruction to students experiencing educational difficulties in participating nonpublic schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer benchmark and diagnostic tests to determine program eligibility and withdrawal.
- Maintain records on each participating student.
- Coordinate instructional activities with school administrators, classroom teachers, and related staff.
- Plan and implement academic intervention support in reading and math.
- Regularly update the nonpublic database with services provided and monitor student outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education and valid Pennsylvania Reading Specialist K-12 certification required.
- Prior experience as a classroom teacher is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships, manage multiple projects, and deadlines.
