Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Safety and Security Program Manager. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote school safety and security throughout our region.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive school safety and security plan, aligned with CSIU and CSC strategic priorities.
- Provide technical assistance and training to school district staff on school safety and security best practices.
- Collaborate with school district administrators, teachers, and staff to identify and address school safety and security concerns.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local, state, and national agencies to stay informed about best practices in school safety and security.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in education, social sciences, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in school safety and security, preferably in a leadership role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
