Quality Inspector

Overview
Perform in process & final inspections, record inspection results, and recommend improvements to production process. Applicants should demonstrate great attention to detail with excellent technical & math abilities, be able to read and understand blueprints. Should have knowledge of GD&T symbols & terms, as well as ISO 9001 system certification requirements. Works under the direction of the QA Manager but should be able to work with little direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
• Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed reports on findings, including any non-conformance issues.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Conduct audits of processes and systems to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Assist in the development and improvement of quality control procedures and documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in QA/QC within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining individual accountability for quality outcomes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
