What are the responsibilities and job description for the RESOURCE INSTRUCTOR position at Central Tech?
POSITION: Resource Instructor
CAMPUS: Drumright Campus
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Serve as a resource instructor for students with disabilities.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Campus Director
SKILLS REQUIRED: Must have good interpersonal relationship skills and utilize good verbal and written communications. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Be able to develop or modify curriculum to meet individual program requirements. Must be a good role model. Ability to provide individualized academic support to students.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Experience with secondary students with special needs. Experience dealing with special education documentation, IEP’s and 504 plans preferred.
EDUCATION: High School diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in technical training and working with students with special needs preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of and the ability to use the effective schooling approach to instruction.
STARTING DATE: August 1, 2025
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10-month contract – Certified/Exempt
