What are the responsibilities and job description for the SCIENCE INSTRUCTOR position at Central Tech?
POSITION: Science Instructor
CAMPUS: Drumright Campus
PRIMARY FUNCTION: To instruct high school students in Anatomy & Physiology, Biology and Chemistry.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Campus Director
SKILLS REQUIRED: Must have good interpersonal relationship skills and utilize good verbal and written communication. Be able to develop or modify curriculum to meet individual program requirements.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Recent teaching experience in science at the high school level or above. Anatomy & Physiology and AP experience preferred.
EDUCATION: BS Degree required. MS Degree preferred. Required: Oklahoma Standard Teaching Certification in Biology. Preferred: Chemistry and Physics or willing to obtain certifications.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of and the ability to use the effective schooling approach to instruction.
STARTING DATE: August 1, 2025
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10-month contract – Certified/Exempt
