Summary of Position
This job requires general administrative and instructional duties that are discipline specific for the Mathematics Department. The incumbent is responsible for record keeping, counseling of students, and instruction of a minimum of five classes per sixteen- week term.
Minimum Required Education
Masters Degree in Mathematics or Masters Degree with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics required. Credit in undergraduate mathematics through Differential Equations or Calculus III .
Minimum Required Experience
Some related teaching experience is preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Qualified to teach Contemporary Mathematics, College Algebra, Trigonometry, Statistics, Finite Math, Business Calculus, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Linear Algebra.
- Willingness to teach traditional, online & dual credit courses.
- Demonstrate a high level of verbal and writing skills, as well as computational skills.
