Position Overview
Reporting to the Pantries Manager, the Pantries Coordinator supports the growth and success of the on-site client choice pantry and the CTFB direct service pantries embedded in the community across our 21-county service area. Responsibilities include overseeing client intake and providing food assistance to individuals and families, connecting clients to community resources, coordinating volunteer activities, and ensuring proper inventory and facility maintenance. This position plays a critical role at the Food Bank to address food access and health among food insecure clients, helping those clients to live healthier, more stable and self-sustaining lives. This position can also be physically demanding, as this role oversees the stocking of the pantry, and requires heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) most days.
Relationships
This position reports directly to the Pantries Manager. While situated within the Client Services department, this role involves close collaboration with teams in Benefits and Emergency Services, Network Services, Logistics, and Production. Strong communication skills and demonstrated professionalism are essential for success in this role.
