We are an established and thriving cardiology practice that has been taking care of hearts in the Brazos Valley for over 35 years.
Our office is a fast-paced, multi-physician, cardiology practice. We are seeking superstar medical assistants to join our team!

Candidates must have excellent patient relations, possess the ability to take directives from various levels of staff, assume responsibility for assignments, and perform the essential duties of the position.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Room patients in a timely manner.
- Obtain vital signs and patient medical history and record in EMR
- Perform EKG's
- Accurately record patient's medications
- Work directly with nurses and providers
- Maintain patient information using EMR software
- All other duties assigned
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Hold a current CMA certificate with experience in a hospital or clinical setting or
- Has currently been working as an MA in a hospital or clinical setting for 8-12 consecutive months
- Proficient in ECW and Meditech
- Has the ability to work in a fast-paced setting supporting multiple providers and nurses
Additional Lead position qualifications include (but not limited to) all the above including leadership experience, previous experience working in a cardiology practice, ECW at least 1 yr (or proven proficiency with EMR software), CMA certification or equivalent years of experience or on-the-job training.
This is a full-time hourly position with great benefits!
Our hours are Mon-Thurs 8a to 5p, Fri 8-noon. There will be occasional OT, but rarely. No nights or weekends or on-call. Lunch is provided most days.
