Operations Management Trainee Program

With growth and opportunity at the forefront of our vision for the future, our Operations Management Trainee Program is geared toward recently graduated or soon-to-be graduating seniors looking to begin their careers in the logistics space. Throughout this 20-week program, participants will receive extensive hands-on training at our Corporate Office in Michigan and several terminals across the country!

Upon completion of the program, graduates will possess the necessary operational and managerial skills to join our terminal network as supervisors or managers!

Responsibilities :

• Engage in all aspects of the structured training program and learn all aspects of linehaul, city dispatch, inbound, outbound and HUB operations.
• Develop knowledge and ability to prepare and plan the daily utilization of resources to ensure a consistent and efficient operation.
• Learn the methods of on-the-job safety to foster safe handling and loading of hazardous materials.
• Develop a strong comprehension of the company operational model, policies and procedures.
• Completes department / area knowledge indicators and develops new indicators as well as process and procedure changes.
