Central Transport is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Quality Manager to lead and ensure the consistent quality and operational excellence across multiple facilities within a designated region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, implementing, and enhancing quality control processes, ensuring compliance with company standards, and continuously improving performance in alignment with regional and corporate goals. This position requires a deep understanding of logistics and transportation processes, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to influence teams across the region to uphold quality standards.
SHIFT: MONDAY - FRIDAY, 4PM - 2AM WITH FLEXIBILITY
SALARY RANGE: $90,000-$120,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance Management: Oversee the implementation of quality management systems and ensure all locations comply with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in quality control processes and implement corrective actions. Drive a culture of continuous improvement across all teams to improve operational efficiency and quality outcomes.
- Audits & Compliance: Conduct regular audits of facilities, processes, and workflows to ensure compliance with established quality control standards. Document findings and collaborate with local management to address non-compliance issues.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the regional quality assurance team. Foster a collaborative environment to ensure the team meets performance objectives and quality goals.
- Training & Development: Develop and deliver quality training programs for employees to ensure high standards of operational excellence are met at all levels.
- Customer Experience: Work closely with the customer service and operations teams to resolve quality-related customer concerns and improve service delivery. Proactively address potential quality issues that could impact customer satisfaction.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and deliver regular reports on quality performance, trends, and corrective actions. Utilize data-driven insights to recommend strategic improvements to leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with regional managers, operational leaders, and corporate quality teams to align quality objectives and share best practices across the region.
Qualifications
- Ability to travel regularly within the region. Travel expected to be up to 75%
- Strong knowledge of LTL operations and freight handling processes
- 5 years of management experience within the transportation or logistics industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Related field preferred but not required
- Willingness and flexibility to work multiple shifts
On top of base salary, Regional Quality Managers would also receive a company laptop and be eligible for a company car OR personal vehicle monthly allowance due to the travel involved with the role.
