**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
- Resolve tax disputes with international, federal and state regulatory agencies.
- Advise senior management regarding significant tax law changes, court decisions, proposed legislation, and other tax-related developments affecting the companies and shareholders.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company's tax position and strategy.
- Work closely with the Tax Director on miscellaneous tax planning and research projects.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting related to income taxes.
- Prepare and file income tax returns, extensions, and payments.
- Possess working knowledge of sales tax, payroll tax, personal property tax, and fuel tax.
- Manage, train, and develop tax department personnel.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience with C Corporation, S Corporation, Partnership, and Individual taxation.
- Bachelor's in Accounting.
- Proficient in tax research and preparation software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and under tight deadlines.
