Jr Laser Operator

The Laser Operator is responsible for producing quality parts according to customer specifications. The Laser Operator will also be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the machine, performing regularly scheduled maintenance, and ensuring adequate supply of gases, consumables, and supplies.

• Responsible for set-ups and inspection of parts produced.
• Produce quality workmanship; parts must be made to print and process specifications.
• Responsible for operator preventive maintenance.
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office and CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

• Advanced math skills preferred.
• Must present a professional appearance with the ability to interact and communicate well with customers and suppliers.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Must be able to perform certain handheld functions correctly to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Must be able to perform light maintenance and keep machine and area clean.
• Must attend all required training and shop meetings.
• Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency in meeting deadlines, while maintaining a flexible can-do attitude.
